CLUB PHOTOTALK: Night Photography with Claire Gilham-Martin

Join photographer and videographer Claire Gilham-Martin for a practical talk exploring the creative possibilities of night photography.

Claire will cover how to approach photographing after dark, including camera settings, working in manual mode, understanding shutter speed, aperture and ISO, focusing in low light, and making the most of available and artificial light.

The session will also look at creative techniques such as long exposures, capturing light trails and working with movement, along with practical tips for getting sharper, more considered images at night.

Whether you’re new to night photography or simply want to feel more confident taking your camera out after dark, this session will give you ideas and techniques you can put into practice on your next night shoot.
